Pork Shoulder Steak Marinade

Marinaded Pork Shoulder Steak on the grill.

This recipe makes a melt in your mouth pork steak no mater how you cook it, on the stove, in the oven or on the grill. We like it on the grill the best.

INGREDIENTS

2 Woodbridge Pork Shoulder Steaks, or 4 pork chops.

1/2 cup soy sauce (I use GF ammino acid)

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 Tbsp oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp black pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl, whisk together,. the soy sauce, brown sugar, oil, minced garlic, and black pepper to create the marinade.

  2. Place the pork steaks in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are fully coasted.

  3. Refrigerate and marinate for at least 4 hours, or perferably overnight.

  4. If grilling: Preheat your grill to medium heat (350-400°F) Remove steaks from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Grill 5-7 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

  5. If baking: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Place steaks in a baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

  6. Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.

ENJOY!
